“Friction” by female-fronted indie-rock from the heartland, The Happily Entitled, tells the story of a lovers dreamy quarrel, starting at the end of the battle, going backwards to bed. Lead singer, Mackenzie Pulse, uses her song to call her love, played by drummer, Dustin Fox, back to bed this surreal music video directed by Dennis Spielman.

Friction made it’s premiere on Uncovering Oklahoma in this video, which included a segment on the OU Ghost Tours and an interview with the band.

LYRICS:
Hangin’ around, you wish that you were settling down.
You wonder what I’m thinking about, all by myself.
Secretly you want to climb in bed with me.
You want to see the things that I see inside my dreams.

Give me what I want and I’ll give you something hot.
Give me what I want and I’ll give you something hot.
I’ve got something you should see now.
We could mix so easily, my friend.
Or we could just pretend.

Singing my song, I knew that you’d be singing along.
You’re wanting me to write it all down and play it out
You think that you know everything about me but you’re wrong.
You think you can creep up inside here and play along

Give me what I want and I’ll give you something hot.
Give me what I want and I’ll give you something hot.
I’ve got something you should see now.
We could mix so easily, my friend.
Or we could just pretend.

Oooohhhh
Ahhhhhhh
Come lay in bed with me.
Come lay in bed with me.
Come lay in bed with me.
Come lay in bed with me.
