For December’s Project 3810 profile, I visited Thick Descriptions. Thick Descriptions provides educational resources to help communities better understand themselves and each other.
A few weeks ago, Leslie and I took an overnight trip to Hochatown. One of the fun attractions we visited was the 29,000-square-foot wooden maze at The MAZE of Hochatown. This maze took us over an hour to complete, and not only did we have to find out the way out, but there were Hochatown Hotspots & Towers to complete our game card to win prizes.
Worth a visit!
Working with Arts Council Oklahoma City, I’ve launched Sessions from Art & Victory. Sessions are one-off artistic lessons for people to enjoy at home or in the classroom. To kick off the session series, teaching artist Katelynn Knick shares how to make a coffee filter watercolor painting, a pop-up paper sculpture, and a god’s eye.
