EXT. MAIN/COMANCHE ART ALLEY – EAST – DAY
Joran enters the alley, seeing the painted dumpsters. Jordan takes a moment to look around until encountering THE PAINTER, a mysterious person in a black, hooded robe. The Painter wields a magical paintbrush the size of a sword.
JORDAN
Excuse me.
The Painter ignores Jordan. Jordan watches as The Painter takes the brush, rubs it against some artwork in the alley (like the rainbow giraffe), and then draws into the air, creating a real life copy. (Production Note: Perhaps this effect can be done with The Painter starting from the bottom, waving the brush up and as the brush comes up, the giraffe is retroscoped/transitioned to life with the brush).
JORDAN
Woah.
The Painter sees Jordan and runs down the alley.
On the screen, two options appear: “Follow the Mysterious Figure” or “Get Dessert at Rusty’s Frozen Custard.”
