Jordan steps inside Rusty’s Custard Factory. Jordan places an order and takes a seat while SHERYL MARTIN enters.
SHERYL
Hey, didn’t I see you at the gallery not too long ago?
JORDAN
Yeah, my date took me.
SHERYL
Well, what did you think of the ONE show?
Jordan shrugs.
JORDAN
I don’t know. It wasn’t my thing. I just didn’t get it.
Jordan gets their order.
SHERYL
[ Says something insightful here. ]
JORDAN
I hadn’t considered that. I probably should find my date and apologize.
SHERYL
[ Sheryl describes what she remembers Avery looked like. ]
JORDAN
That’s Avery!
SHERYL
I saw them in the alley in the alley behind the galley. Though by now, they may have gone elsewhere. Resonator has a new show, so maybe they went there?
JORDAN
Thanks, I’ll see if I can’t catch them.
SHERYL
If you do, we are putting on a play tonight at Yellow Dog. You’re more than welcome to join us.
JORDAN
I’ll keep that in mind.
Jordan steps outside.
JORDAN
(to camera)
I could go find Avery behind MAINSITE, see if they’re at Resonator, or cut my losses and check out that coffee shop I saw on Gray Street.
