Under construction since April 2015, Poe Bouyz House in Oklahoma City is now open to serve great seafood in a fun environment that feels like home. I interviewed the builder and owner, Tony Howard, and Chef GiGi about the story behind this unique restaurant, what food they offer, the artwork, and what visitors can expect to see.

This story is a follow-up to this sneak preview tour I did with Tony back in July 2017. Check out that story if you’re interested in seeing what it looked like before and why it’s taken so long to build. I personally had the combination of shrimp and catfish bo’ boy and the gumbo, and they were amazing.

Visit Poe Bouyz House along I-35 in Oklahoma City between NE 23rd Street and NE 36th Street at 3500 N. I-35 Service Road (3500 Frontage Road according to Google Maps). Be sure to follow them on Instagram or Twitter @poebouyzhouse as they are in the soft opening stages with select hours.
